Diagnostic Ultrasound

Diagnostic Medical Ultrasound is the use of sound wave to produce an image of diagnostic quality and purposes.

If you are a patient who has been referred externally to us by other clinicians, the referring practitioner will receive a detailed written report based on the findings of you scan.

Sport Rehabilitators help people suffering from musculoskeletal pain or injury. They help people of all ages and all backgrounds to maintain their health and fitness and recover from injury. Sport Rehabilitators prevent injury and reduce pain using exercise, movement and manual based therapeutic interventions (such as sports massage, cupping, and joint mobilisations). Sport Rehabilitation uses a complete approach, considering the whole needs of the individual to allow optimal recovery and placing the patient at the centre of their own care.

Ann-Marie Graduated with First Class Honours from the Welsh Institute of Chiropractic at the University of Glamorgan in 2002 and founded Beaches Chiropractic the following year. Previously Ann-Marie worked as a Staff Nurse specialising in Accident & Emergency and Orthopaedics, giving her over 30 years experience in healthcare. The combination of her specialist Chiropractic skills and grounding in healthcare gives Ann-Marie an advantage when assessing her patients.

Functional Movement is a particular area of interest for Ann-Marie she is certified in FMS and SFMA and is a level 1 movement coach. By assessing functional movement Ann-Marie is able to detect areas of muscular imbalance associated with longstanding problems brought on by compensation related to injury or poor movement habits and can work as a predictor of future injury.

Ann-Marie’s many qualifications include western acupuncture also known as dry needling, Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation (IASTM) and Kiniesiotaping amongst others.

On a number of occasions our Chiropractors have been approached to provided Chiropractic cover at national and international sporting events. Amongst the events Ann-Marie has attended are Britain’s Natural Strongest Man Final 2014 & 2015, and the European Lifesaving Championships 2015 to name a few.

Ann-Marie is also registered as a trainer with the RCC and mentors newly qualified chiropractors, and is the post-graduate study organiser for Chiropractors locally.

Daniel is a highly skilled Chiropractor with advanced expertise in Sports and Exercise Medicine, MSK Ultrasound, and Rehabilitation. With multiple postgraduate qualifications, he specialises in musculoskeletal health, elite sports performance, and innovative treatment techniques.

Robyn is a qualified Sport Rehabilitator who graduated from Cardiff Metropolitan University in 2025.

Gaining hands-on experience during a season-long placement with Scarlets Rugby, Robyn has developed a strong interest in movement function and biomechanics, particularly in relation to injury risk and performance. With experience providing soft tissue massage for elite athletes, including those from Ukraine Athletics, Welsh Athletics, and Celtic Dragons Netball, Robyn is committed to delivering high-quality care. As a registered member of the British Association of Sport Rehabilitators (BASRaT), she is dedicated to continuous professional development, ensuring the latest evidence-based techniques are used to support clients in their recovery and performance goals. Outside of practice, Robyn competes in netball and is an experienced gym-goer, giving her a firsthand understanding of the physical demands that sport and an active lifestyle place on the body.
